Day 1: Kotor Old Town, Perast, Risan

Start and end in Kotor! Check in a 4-star hotel before taking some time to stroll around beautiful Kotor Old Town. Explore the tremendously rich history of the town on a walking tour with a professional guide. Journey through the history of the former inhabitants, including Ottomans, Venetians and Christians.

Depart from Kotor and enjoy a 30-minute drive towards Perast, the small and the quietest town in Boka Bay. Discover a sophisticated urban complex of a great number of public buildings, especially along the waterfront, despite its diminutive size. What makes this place unique are two jewel-like islands – one natural (St. George) and one man-made (Our Lady of the Rocks). Take the boat and explore the most famous islands in Montenegro.

Our next stop is small town of Risan remarkable for being the oldest settlement in this area. Risan is located only a few kilometers from Perast and its main attraction are Roman ancient mosaics.

Day 2: Cetinje

After breakfast you will experience a unique hiking experience. The “Ladder of Kotor” is also known as the Ladder of Cattaro. This hiking trail is what remains from legendary route that connected Kotor with Njeguši village and Cetinje.

Then we will drive to Lovćen by the old road constructed in 1879 by Austro-Hungarians to connect Kotor and Cetinje, the old royal capital. It has 25 curves and there will be several stops for you to take photos and enjoy the beauty of Boka Bay.

Visit traditional village Njeguši, part of the territory of old Montenegro, where the Petrović dynasty rulers were born. During Turkish rule, going through Njeguši was the only traffic road from Cetinje to Kotor and on to the Europe and the rest of the world. The most interesting part of your visit to Njeguši will be the 134-year-old restaurant where you can enjoy local products (smoked ham, cheese and grape brandy).

Lovćen National Park will be our next stop. On the top of the second highest and imposing peak of Lovćen sits the officially highest mausoleum in the world. After climbing 461 steps, we will finally get to see the huge statue of the ruler made by world renowned sculptor Ivan Meštrović.

After lunch we go to Cetinje, small town rich in cultural and historical heritage. Visiting royal palace and the Cetinje Monastery.
